Rafael Busch, Susanne Opitz
und Angela Sallat (Berlin / Leipzig)
Saturday 21th July 07 - Monday 23th July 07
Rafael, Susanne and Angela surely will bring a lot of new ideas from their current
journey in Buenos Aires. Especially they will present the interesting principals
of Dana Frigoli und Pablo Villarraza.
There a fundamental aspect is leading and following by projecting energy into
contra energy. The point is not to dance with effort, but rather to find an
intelligent and precise way to arrange forces and to answer on them. For experienced
dancers that may require to leave old custums and to use the body in new way.
But the profit will be a marvellous easines and a real improvisation of the
complex material in tango.
Every
lesson starts with a warming up bodywork. Special excercises prepare movements
and forms, that will come to a complex figure in the end. The result is a tango
that is relaxed, smooth, joyfull and alive.
We are happy that Rafael, Susanne and Angela will come as a Trio - and even
bring two very small future tango dancers ;-) top
Stravaganza (Ulrike Schladebach
& Stephan Wiesner, Berlin)
Wednesday 25th July 07 - Saturday 28th July 07
If
you have ever seen a show with Stravaganza, you will know that Ulrike and Stephan
belong to Germany's most outstanding dancers. Their dance is a fascinating theatrical
masterpiece of dramatic depth encompassing the darkest shades and brightest
supernovae of human existence.
But, it is less known in the community that both are also very sensitive and
down-to-earth teachers. Their classes are based on in-depth yet relaxed work
on the roots of Tango and always taught in a funny and enjoyable atmosphere.
Also, if you are interested in Tango as an expressing and performing art, Stravaganza's
classes will be the right place for you.
This year we are very curious about their sensational performance, that they
couldn't give us last year. Good luck! top
